She was predeceased by: her parents, Adam Brumm and Elisabetha Bender Brumm; her husband Michael Maerz, Jr.; her daughter Margaret Maerz; and her grandson Brent Flick.
She is survived by: her daughter Brigitte T. Walton of Lancaster; and her siblings-in-law, Konrad Maerz, Martin (Virginia Maerz), Marie (Michael Snyder), Margaret Hippey and Elizabeth Maerz. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Melanie B. Scheid Funeral Directors & Cremation Services (317 E Orange St, Lancaster, PA 17602). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
