He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Lutz and Ethel Lutz-Boesch (Wingenroth). He is survived by: his wife Jean U. Lutz (Ulmer); his children, H. Kevin Lutz (Christine) and Kara Jean Haggerty (Edward); and his grandchildren, Harrison Lutz, Jonathan Lutz, Erin Burns (David) and Kerrie Balcom.
