It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Koula Photis of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 17, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Koula Photis to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Apostolos Hahalis and Lemonia Hahalis (Patounas); her husband Pete "Panteli" Photis; her brother Nikola Hahalis; and her nephew Apostolos.
She is survived by: her children, Gus P. Photis (Dore) of Lancaster, Linda Photis of Tujunga, CA, George P. Photis (Diane) of Rehoboth Beach, DE and Paul P. Photis (Krista) of Mountville; her grandchildren, Pete, Haley, Alec, Caroline, Blanca, Gerardo and Jordan; her great grandchildren, Alex, Jayciel, Sylis and Juanluis; her niece Koula Hahalis Mylonas; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Yanni and Niko; her godchildren, Maria (Kourgeli-Kesoglou), Kosta, Irene Kourgeli-Varias, Aristides Varias (Ted), Tom Barlis and Elizabeth Nectaria; and her caregivers, Phlebotomists and Supporting.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church (64 Hershey Ave, Lancaster, PA 17603). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
