He was predeceased by: his mother Callie Sanders; and his brothers, Donald Ray Beard and James Edward Beard. He is survived by: his children, Nikiowana Beard of Lancaster, Leona Beard of Roselle, NJ, Odette Bailey and Nicole Proctor; his siblings, Joseph, Virginia Ann London and Johnnie Mae McCoy; and also Evelyn Beard (Thompson). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
