He is survived by: his wife Barbara A. McCardell (Little); his children, Patrick McCardell (Jill), Terri Mitchell (William) and Sherri Herr (Tom); his brother Daniel McCardell (Patricia); and his daughter-in-law Michelle Jennings. He is also survived by five grandchildren, four great grandchildren.
