He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Helm, and Kathryn M. Helm, Jr. (Walton); his son Rick Helm; his siblings, John Walton, Charles Helm and Ruth Thomas; his grandson Jeremy Duke; and his great grandchild Quinn.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie L. Helm (Long); his children, Antoinette Boas (Robert), Will Helm (Megan), Tammy and Peggy Duke; his brothers, Ronald (Dorothy) and Robert Helm (Mary Anne); and his grandchildren, Robert, Kathryn, Austin, Charlie, Marlee, Danny, William, Shawn, Dakotah, Amethyst, Briana, Ricky, David and Josh. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
