It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lester L. Witmer of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 8, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Lester L. Witmer to show support.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester H. Witmer and Annetta Reese Witmer; and his siblings, Benjamin, Chester, James, Albert, Catherine and William.

He is survived by: his wife Elsie; and his children, Joyce E. Thompson (Gerald, Jr.), James L. Witmer (Bonnie) of Cohutta, GA, Shirley M. Landis (James) of Grovetown, GA and Karen J. Roeder (Brad) of Bayfield, CO. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Carpenter Community Church, 378 Glenbrook Rd, Leola, PA 17540.
