We are sad to announce that on December 30, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Martin Jay Sommerfeld of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He is survived by: his parents, Stanley Sommerfeld and Janet Sommerfeld; his wife Mary Shenk; his children, Bethany Sommerfeld of Lancaster, PA and Drew Sommerfeld of Pequea, PA; and his siblings, Jody Green (Wade) of Peoria, AZ, Cindy Mordecai (Don) of Norton, KS, Anissa Bedard of Owasso, OK, Ranay Bedard of Bixby, OK, Vicki Dinkel (late Dean) of Sharon Springs, KS, Albert Fisher (Jessica) of Buffalo Center, IA, Naomi Walls (Doug) of Caney, KS and Nicole Brocklehurst of Hoxie, KS. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mennonite Disaster Service, 583 Airport Road, Lititz, PA 17543 or to YWAM Haiti, P.O Box 236, Akron, PA 17501.
