Mary Haddon Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Haddon of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 30, 2025 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Richard M. Seymour of Long Island, NY; her parents, William N. Duck, and Lulu M. Duck, Sr. (Hackman) of Millheim, PA.; her brothers, William N. Duck, Jr. (Dorothy Hampton Duck) of Lancaster and John J. Duck (Lillian B. Duck) of Akron, OH; and her siblings' child Jamie Duck.

She is survived by: her children, Mary Haddon Doyle of Lancaster, Diane V. Haddon (Fred Allendorf) of Missoula, MT, Harry H. Haddon III of Lancaster and David A. Haddon (Kathy) of Denver, PA; her daughter-in-law Sharon K. Sacks of Lancaster; her grandchildren, Mara Pritchard (Edward), Liz Balleweg (Jess Wojcik), Julia Losito (Michael), Caleb Haddon, Mark Haddon (Brittany), Scott Haddon and Milena Misiak (Ethan); her great grandchildren, Aubrey, Daniel, Grace, Luca and Elias; and her sibling's children, William N. Duck III (Naomi) of Lancaster, Betty Bingham of Lancaster, John J. Duck, Jr. (Pat) of Pittsburgh, PA and Jeanine Dietz (Glen) of Ocean, NJ..

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary's memory to the Lancaster Symphony Orchestra or the Unitarian Universalist Church of Lancaster.

“To Mary's family.....I got to know some of you by your visits at Trillium Place. Mary was a special lady who lived in an apartment below me at Woodcrest. She was always interested in my pets and I now enjoy visiting with her kitty, Lily. My sympathy to each of you at this sad time. She was a special, soft spoken lady. Peggy”
