He is survived by: his children, Dr. David Toomey, Elizabeth "Liz" Toomey Rivera (Jorge), Kathleen Toomey Hoffman, Joseph Toomey, Tami Newborg (JB) and Sabrina Roark; and his brothers, John Toomey and Mark Bleecher (Dawn). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
