He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence W. James and Esther Murry James; and his brother Charles James. He is survived by: his children, Paul Jr. (Rosanna James) of Nesquehoning, Mark James of Marietta and Malynda (David Haun) of Lancaster; and his siblings, Janet Welch-Grebinger (Thomas) of Lititz and Robert (Jan James) of Harrison Valley. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
