In the sacred silence of farewell, Paul is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Paul's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Cholka Fitzgerald and George F. Fitzgerald. He is survived by: his wife Susan Trotman Fitzgerald; his son David Alan Fitzgerald (Heather) of Manassas, VA.; his grandchildren, Christabel Florence and David Alan, Jr.; and his brothers, George Timothy Fitzgerald (Joni) of Riverview, MI and William (Bill). He is also survived by niece, 2 nephews and several cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 18th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Thrive Community Church (2124 Old Philadelphia Pike, Lancaster, PA 17602).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Memorial Fund at Thrive Community Church.
