She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Ann Donagher Hershman and Earl John Hershman; her husband Gordon W. Messer; her son Michael K. Messer; her sister Patricia Ann Hershman Schriver; and her niece Theresa R. Schriver.
She is survived by: her daughters, Roxanne M. Messer and Celeste P. Messer; her sibling's children, Karen A. Welch, Philip, David and Scott Messer; her daughter-in-law Christine Messer; her grandson Eric M. Messer; and her pets, Spooky, Abby June and Tippy.
