He was predeceased by : his parents, Dr. Grover C. Schwartz and Ethel Schwartz (Colahan); and his siblings, John "Jack", Ethel (Sener), Richard ("Dick"), George, and Mary (Shearer).
He is survived by : his wife Jean Schwartz (Berkstresser); his children, David Schwartz of Springfield, VA and Linda Eckman (Keith) of Lancaster, PA; and his grandchildren, Andrew and Kaelyn Eckman.
