He is survived by: his wife Louise Sheaffer (Hunsinger); and his children, Robin Haddon (Scott), Robert E., Jr. (Amy), Edward Wolferd (Joy), Lisa Leamy and Dorothy Johnson (Steve). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
