She was predeceased by: her parents, Raphall M. McCoury, Jr. and Frances J. McCoury (Elville); her husband George Powell; and her son Brandon Powell. She is survived by: her siblings, Ronald McCoury (Pat), Roxana (James McCoury), Rowena (Zane Jeffrey) of Nottingham and Rose (Elmer Janney) of Nottingham. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
