She was predeceased by: her husband Henry Hinton; her parents, Dave Thomas Sr. and Carrie Mae Thomas (Wylie); her daughter Kathy L. "Kat" Hinton; her granddaughters, Tanisha Hinton and Latausha Wilson; and her siblings, Mae Ella Dixon, Elizabeth Hough, Sarah Blackwell, Dave Thomas Jr., Rufus Thomas and Randy Dixon.
She is survived by: her children, Clifford Thomas (Margret) of South Carolina, Susan H., Anita Rowles (Alvin Rowles) of North Carolina, William B. of Lancaster, Karen Hinton-Polite (Nelson, Jr.) of Lancaster and Kymmee A. Hinton of Lancaster; her siblings, Reverend James Thomas (late Carolyn), Carrie Mae Ewell of Ohio and Lavern Thomas Lancaster (Ruth); her great grandchild Myla Rose; her great great grandchild Skylee Rose; and her cousin Thomas "TJ" Thomas. She is also survived by 31 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren.
