It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Shirley Sears of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, who passed away at the age of 81, on April 7, 2021. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family. You may also light a candle in honor of Shirley Sears.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Jay Koser and Evelyn Koser (Washstetter); her husband Lawrence P. Sears; her step-children, Lisa and Michael Sears; and her siblings, Joan Bryan and Robert Koser.

She is survived by : her children, Terry Way (Cheri) of Elizabethtown and Kathy Gainer (John) of Lancaster; her step-daughter Cindy Gochnauer (Karl) of Mountville; her grandchildren, Rebecca Sears of Lancaster, Johnny Gainer (Spencer Nendza) of Philadelphia, Adam Way of Elizabethtown and Joshua Sears of Lancaster; and her brother Herbert Stahl (Susan) of Wernersville.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 13th 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sheetz Funeral Home, Inc. (16 E Main St, Mount Joy, PA 17552). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 13th 2021 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, April 13th 2021 at 12:15 PM at the Laurel Hill Memorial Garden (845 Laurel Hill Rd, Columbia, PA 17512).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Evangelical Congregational Church, 100 New Haven St, Mount Joy, PA 17552 or the Columbia Animal Shelter, 265 S 10th St, Columbia, PA 17512.
