He was predeceased by: his parents, William Barnett and Ruth Alboum Barnett Sharpless. He is survived by: his daughters, Jessica Miller of York and Melissa Kashner of Lancaster; and his brother Samuel Barnett of Wooster, Ohio.. He is also survived by four grandchildren.

Contributions in Steve's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
