With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sylvia F. Garner (Lancaster, Pennsylvania), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 12, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Frey and Arlene Frey; her granddaughter Carly Weidler; and her brother Gerald Frey. She is survived by: her husband Albert E. "Gene" Garner; her children, Jodi Trayer (Thomas), Heidi Weidler (Herb) and Andrew; her grandchildren, Zachary Trayer (Lily), Nicole Wiestling (Adam), Gretchen Good (Logan), Conrad Weidler and Troy Weidler; her sisters, Lois Buchbaum and Donna Thompson; and her sister-in-law Helen Frey.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Westminster Presbyterian Church (2151 Oregon Pike, Lancaster, PA 17601). A memorial service was held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
