He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Mitchell and Mary Ellen Goller Mitchell; and his brothers, Barry and David Mitchell. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Gingrich Mitchell; his sons, Richard (Lori Dixon Mitchell) of Lancaster and Tyler (Dene Stoltzfus Mitchell) of Atglen; and his grandchild Crosby Mitchell.
