He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy "Dot" Herr (Vaughn); his parents, Vernon E. Herr and Mary Herr (Moss); and his brother Vernon Herr, Jr. (Erla). He is survived by: his niece Linda Arnold (Damon) of Lancaster; and his nephews, Timothy Vaughn (Paula) of Eastman, GA, Andy Howarth of California and Ralph Fitzkee of Thomasville, PA. He is also survived by other nephews and nieces.
