He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence E. Mentzer and Ella Mentzer; and his siblings, Harry E., Clarence E., Jr., Donald R., Shirley Neff and Thomas E. Mentzer.
He is survived by: his wife Peg (Rudy); his children, Tara (Andrew Oltmans) of Elizabethtown and Brad Mentzer of Denver; his grandchildren, Lily Oltmans of Reston, VA, Seth and Rene Oltmans of Elizabethtown; his pets, Poseidon and Louie; and his sister-in-law JoAnn Mentzer of Lancaster. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Hospice by Masonic Village (http://masonicvillagehospice.org) or the Ann B. Barshinger Cancer Center.
