He is survived by: his daughter Carol Gates Shirker (Newpher "Newt" Shirker Jr.) of Lancaster; and his brother Thomas G. (Jean Gates) of Manheim.
Viewing will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM and on Saturday, May 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Buch Funeral Home - Manheim (21 Market Square, Manheim, PA 17545). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
