He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Ann Snyder Phillips; and his parents, Herman E. Phillips and Hattie Pauline Fenner Phillips. He is survived by: his sons, Christopher G. Phillips of Landenberg and James Steven Phillips (Tracey) of Landenberg; and his siblings, Fred Phillips of Oxford, Richard Phillips of Kennett Square, Mary Seats of Toughkenamon, Joyce Morefield of Wilmington, DE and Helen Miller of Wilmington, DE..
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the State Line Baptist Church (560 Chrome Rd, Rising Sun, MD 21911). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
