He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Doris Simpkins Hendrickson; his father Lawrence; his daughter Vickie Riley (James) of Oxford; his grandchildren, Jennifer Ayers (Dave) of Rising Sun, MD and James Riley, III of Oxford; his great grandchildren, Marissa Ayers, Joanna Ayers, Grace Ayers and Olivia Riley; and his siblings, Richard Hendrickson of Oxford, Robert Owens (Shelva) of Townsend, DE, Mary Jane of Newark, DE, Louise of Oxford and Edith. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the Calvary Baptist Church.
