He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice R Pickel and Christine Johnson; and his brother Michael L. Pickel. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Jasienski Pickel; his children, Michael Pickel (Elizabeth Pickel) and Maureen Pickel; his grandchildren, Alexander and Parks Pickel; and his sisters, Roseanne Ortega (Gerald Ortega) and Elaine Johnson (Donna Cheetham). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
