He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Eugene Harman and Myrtle Elizabeth Harman (Slade); and his siblings, Margaret Edmundson, John Robert Harman, Ralph Eugene Harman, Caroline Burton and William Harman.

He is survived by: his wife Donna Miller-Harman; his sister Marie Aleshire; and his sister-in-law Pili Harman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
