She was predeceased by: her child Jayese Marie Deakin; her granddaughter Johanna Deakin; and her brother William M. Mess Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Jay H. Deakin; her sons, Bill Deakin (Lisa Diehlmann) and Robert Deakin; her grandchildren, Chloe Deakin, Ava Deakin, Henry Deakin and Annabelle Deakin; and her siblings, Gerald Mess, Nancy Mess, Robert Mess and Sandra Benson.
