He is survived by: his wife Sheila; his children, Christopher Ciocian (Melissa) and Alison Howe; his grandchildren, Jacob, Connor, Carly, Cullen and Maya; and his siblings, Julie Porembescu (Aurel) and George Ciocian (Eileen). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of John "Jim" Ciocian may be made in support of pancreatic cancer research at Thomas Jefferson University.
