She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph R King, Jr. (Joe); and her sister Susan Hagans. She is survived by: her children, Michelle Obert (Glenn), Joseph King (Shelly) and Christina Uchrin (Michael); and her siblings, Gerald and Nancy Mayette. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many extended family.
