He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael and Catherine; and his brother James. He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, Dawn Marie Smith (Michael) and Michael (Michelle); his grandchildren, Riley, Colin, Liam, Nolan, Michael and Teagan Marie; and his siblings, Thomas (Colleen), John (Anne Marie) and Eileen. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
