He was predeceased by: his brother Allen Lankin. He is survived by: his wife Paula D. Parrott; his children, Jason A. Parrott (Yanina) and Michelle Fox (Paul); his grandsons, Jason Jr. and Luke; his stepdaughter Kim Sumrall Lankin; his stepgranddaughter Rachel; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Kay Chirico (Claude) and Sedgy Sendlock (June). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
