He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Ann Matthews (Woods); his children, William John Matthews and Charlotte D'Iorio (Michael); his grandchildren, Michael D'Iorio and Alyssa Yates (Daniel); and his great grandchild Kaelyn Yates.
