He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hugh McCaffrey and Isabel Alberta Schaffer McCaffrey. He is survived by: his wife Joann McCaffrey (Sonneborn); his daughter Cheryl McCaffrey Hallowell; his siblings, Barbara Ann Anderson (Herbert H.) and Daniel McCaffrey (Sandra); and his close friend John Dando. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
