He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Harry Pine and Ruth Pine; his children, William R. Pine, Jr., Kimberly Hahn, Jackie Pine and Amy McQuibben; his grandchildren, Jake, Courtney, Billy, Connor and Jackson; his siblings, Nancy McDermott, Richard Leidy and Ronald Leidy; his wife Linda; and his sister Joan Kelble.
