She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Theodore Lysiak and Kathryn Lysiak; her husband Leon G. Kern; her son Leon G. Kern Jr.; her husband Joesph Norkunas; her brother Matthew Lysiak of Swoyersville; her daughter Karen Kern Yarrish (Craig, Wyoming); and her daughter-in-law Nancy Kern of Dallas.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations go to the Leon G. Kern Jr.
