He is survived by: his wife Joan Alderfer (Herr); his children, Cheryl Birk (Thomas) of Bradenton, FL, Lynn Alderfer (Jim Jackson) of Quakertown, PA and David Alderfer (Sandra McGoldrick) of Vernfield, PA; his siblings, Lee Alderfer of California and Darlene Brunk (Jerry) of Lansdale, PA.; his grandchildren, Sarah Hula (Jay), William Birk, Molly Birk, Melissa Boyd (Carey), Charles Alderfer (Leslie Humlhanz) and Hannah Alderfer (Marcus Howell); and his great grandchild Jace Hula.
