He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth Shearer (Klinger); and his parents, Robert Shearer and Lily Shearer (Robbins). He is survived by: his children, Terry L. Shearer (Donna) and Edward L. Shearer, Jr. (Janice); and his brother Pete Shearer. He is also survived by five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren.
