He was predeceased by: his parents, George Stanley and Jennie Stanley (Hamilton). He is survived by: his wife Janet E. Stanley (Garner); his son Christopher B. Stanley (Pamela) of Niskayuna, NY; and his grandchildren, Joshua (Macy) and Emily.
