He was predeceased by: his father J. Wayne Hunter; his daughter Margaret Jean; and his sisters, Naomi Hunter Taylor and Mary Jane. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Hunter (Sherman); his daughters, Sharon Hunter of Syracuse and Suzanne McClurg (Scott) of Syracuse; his granddaughters, Kimberley Bratt of Syracuse, Ashley Hass (Zach) of Syracuse, Lauren Sprague (Jamie) of Syracuse and Sara Latham (Kavan) of Reston, VA; his great grandchildren, Wesley, Emmy, Ruthie, Jaxson, Naomi, Nina, Keelan and Cecelia; and his brothers, Jack (Ann) of Indianapolis, IN and Calvin (Sabra) of Cleveland, OH. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
