He was predeceased by: his mother Marie Claire Carlin; and his brother Charles. He is survived by: his father Charles Carlin; his sisters, Marie Kantor (Gary), Nancy Bondiskey (Michael), Kathleen Scholl (Benjamin), Margaret Carlin, Patricia Vance (Phillip), Rosemary O'Malley (Kevin) and Jennifer McFadden (John); and his sister-in-law Colleen Carlin.
