He was predeceased by: his spouse Shirley Reinhart (Rupp); his parents, John Lyon and Annette Lyon (Dinsmore); his brother Don Lyon; and his nephew John Vance Lyon.
He is survived by: his daughters, Victoria Anne Lyon (John Mayhew) of Burien, WA and Rachel L. Benner (Thomas) of Lansdale; his grandchildren, Michael Benner and Phoebe Benner; his brother Larry Lyon (Kathy) of Attica, IN; his sister-in-law Donna Lyon of Williamsport, IN; his former wife Barbara Lyon of North Wales; his niece Natalie Lyon (Marc Bennett) of Oakland, CA; his nephews, Don Lyon (Kathie) of Greenwood, IN and Chad Lyon (Chris Ginter) of Indianapolis, IN; his stepdaughter Sheri Reinhart of Las Cruces, NM; his stepgrandchild Leena of Los Angeles, CA; and his stepsons, Scott Reinhart of Syracuse, NY and Steven Reinhart of Houston, TX..
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, funeral services and interment will be private in Trinity Lutheran Church Columbarium.
