He is survived by: his mother Bette Schmitz (Wheeler); his daughter Ashley DeStefano (Schmitz); his son-in-law Kevin DeStefano; and his grandchildren, Dominic Reinoso Calle, Charles DeStefano, Kyra DeStefano and Kevin DeStefano Jr..
