She was predeceased by: her parents, Frances Isabel Lyons (Hunt) and Phillip Douglas Lyons; and her sister Virginia Byfield. She is survived by: her husband Geoffrey W. Broadhurst; her friend Jean; her children, Sue Broadhurst and Jeff Broadhurst (Brenda Babbitt); her grandchildren, Quin, Bree Hopkins, Sophia, Ella and Zane Broadhurst; her sister Elizabeth "Sally" Cleary (Ross); and her brother-in-law Ted Byfield.
