He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth B. Meister; his parents, Leonard Meister and Edith Meister (Eynatten); and his siblings, Winton and Joanne.
He is survived by: his daughters, Linda M. Eggan (James) of Uhrichsville, OH and Barbara M. Kroberger (Jeffrey) of Jamison, PA; his grandchildren, Jonathan E. Kroberger (Erin) of Philadelphia, Elizabeth K. Thomas (John) of Philadelphia and Jessica E. Ray (David) of Maumelle, AR; his great grandchildren, Charlotte, Whitney, Camille and William; and his brother Donald Meister (Patricia) of Pittsburgh. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
