Richard Boorse Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 23, 2025, at the age of 97, Richard Boorse (Lansdale, Pennsylvania) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Richard may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his wife Martine Boorse (Hagenbuch); and his parents, Charles Boorse and Minnie Boorse (Thiemich). He is survived by: his children, Patricia L. Kracht of Sellersville, Susan G. Boorse of Takoma Park, MD and Dr. Richard C. Boorse (Nina Schiavone) of Center Valley, PA. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home (701 Derstine Ave, Lansdale, PA 19446). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
