He is survived by: his wife Sharon Murphy (Norman); his sons, Richard Murphy Jr. (Katie) of Lansdale, PA and Jonathon Murphy (Amber) of Camp Hill, PA; and his grandchildren, Abigail, Vivian, Sophia and Nolan. He is also survived by one brother; and three sisters.
