He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Knorr Hughes; and his parents, Robert Hughes and Naomi Hughes (Savage). He is survived by: his daughters, Esther Hughes McKenna of Worcester, Barbara Hughes Rubio (Fernando) of Doylestown and Carol Hughes Grundy of Perkasie; his grandchildren, Christian (Kathlene), Grant (Joslyn), Marcus, Daniel (Lauren), Todd, Samuel (Brittany), Joshua and Nora; and his great grandchildren, Jazmine, Lily, Molly, Stone, River, Jude, Finn and Rory.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, 919 Tennis Ave., Maple Glen, PA 19002.
