He was predeceased by: his parents, Grace Hoffman and Freeman Hoffman; his wife Bernice Hoffman; and his brother Larry Hoffman. He is survived by: his children, LuAnne DeVall (Tom) of Troutville, VA, Loren Hoffman (Trini) of Quakertown, Michele McCloud (Jim) of Telford, William F. Hoffman, Jr. of Oldham, SD and Sheila Molyneaux (Tom) of Harleysville; and his sister Sue Miller (Loyd) of Alto, MI.. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren.
